Owner Lesley Bland has carefully culled the entrees on Around the World's well-travelled lineup of menus from the world's tastiest cuisines, creating a memorable flavour pastiche served at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sunset-obsessed taste buds can look east for once and enjoy Asian-inspired dishes that include East Indian samosas ($16.85) and Asian-style egg rolls served with dainty puddles of green-chile or sweet-and-sour sauce ($9.68). The finest bayou bistros send up Cajun salmon caesar salad decked with homemade croutons ($15.87), and even more frequent-eater miles can be racked up with stops in Spain for the restaurant's most popular dish, signature Spanish-style burritos ($16.85), which arrive oven-baked with barbecue sauce. With wood-panelled walls and a kid-friendly ambience, the roomy dining room's long, sleek tables and intimate booths can accommodate more than 100 diners or UN food-critic diplomats.

The subdivisions of the Canadian provinces and territories are varied in size, status, and stability. The eastern provinces tend to be divided into counties; the western provinces, sections, divisions, or districts; and Yukon is only subdivided for electoral or census purposes. Prince Edward Island appears to have been subdivided into Prince, Queens, and Kings Counties for as long as it has been a province.
