GTA VI Unleashed: First Look in Official Trailer - Don't Miss the Excitement!

Less than 24 hours before Rockstar planned to unveil the highly anticipated GTA VI’s inaugural trailer, an account, now suspended, prematurely leaked the footage on X (formerly Twitter). Despite the scheduled premiere set for Tuesday, December 5th, at 9 AM ET, Rockstar swiftly countered by releasing the trailer on its official YouTube channel.

The trailer unveiled numerous intricacies that had gradually surfaced about GTA VI over the past two years. It affirmed the Vice City setting and introduced the series’s first female protagonist, entwined in a narrative inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. As per the trailer, the release date for GTA VI is set for 2025. In a subsequent press release on Monday, Rockstar clarified that the game would be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S in that year.

A decade in the making, the first trailer for GTA VI could have been a mere Roman numeral for six, sparking discussions and speculations for eternity. Fortunately, the trailer exceeded expectations, showcasing quintessential GTA elements—swift cars, unrestrained gunplay, wads of ill-gotten cash, and a dose of American-flavored hedonism—amidst the backdrop of Vice City, a fictionalized Miami.

The trailer placed the spotlight on a singular protagonist, Lucia, introduced clad in a prison jumpsuit. Lucia, apparently released from incarceration, embarks on a criminal journey with her boyfriend.

The accompanying press release offered a succinct glimpse into the game itself: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond, representing the most extensive and immersive evolution within the Grand Theft Auto series to date,” declared Rockstar.

The revelation of GTA VI has been marked by a flurry of leaked information. Earlier this year, a UK teenager was held accountable for a leak that disseminated 90 videos from the in-development process. Adding to the intrigue, a TikTok video surfaced this week, claiming to be leaked footage from the game, allegedly sourced from a Rockstar employee’s child. These TikTok videos, as of now, remain accessible, showcasing glimpses of the game’s expansive setting on a computer monitor.
