In this condensed, mini-auction, most teams have already secured the core of their squads. Franchises will, however, utilize this opportunity to fine-tune and strengthen their teams with the addition of new players. The mega auction is scheduled for IPL 2025, making this the conclusive mini-auction before the grand event. Teams aim to ensure that the five players crucial for the next five years are already on board to facilitate retention before the next year’s auction. Here, we aim to address several questions related to the upcoming auction.
